Local author Ned Tillman will lead a discussion loosely based on his latest book, "Saving the Places We Love: Paths toward Environmental Stewardship." What are you doing to preserve the places that are special to you? What should we be doing together to preserve what we all think should not be lost? This book is the story of some of those wonderful places all across America and what key people and organizations have done in the past to save them.

Ned also wrote the award-winning book, "The Chesapeake Watershed: A Sense of Place and a Call to Action", describing some of the places important to him: the Susquehanna River, the Appalachian Mountains, and the Chesapeake Bay.
