Conservation Committee Meeting and Talk: "How to Win Land Development Issues"

6:30 – 7:30 pm: join us for an informal meeting to discuss current and future conservation and stewardship projects in Howard County. Get an update on the Patapsco Heritage Greenway's proposal, and our request to exclude the Patapsco Valley State Park from the Heritage Area. Find out about Richard Klein's "Clearing Our Waters" campaign, a citizen-led effort to minimize erosion from construction sites. 

7:30 – 8:30 pm: “How to Win Land Development Issues” by Richard Klein of Community and Environmental Defense Services (ceds.org). Learn about the approaches to equitable solutions and smart legal strategies that have enabled CEDS to achieve a 90% success rate in combatting the environmental impacts of development since 1987.
