The annual election for Anne Arundel Sierra Club Executive Committee leadership has been completed.
The all-volunteer leadership panel, elected by electronic and paper ballots (the latter circulated in the Chapter newsletter, Chesapeake) includes mostly returning incumbents. The committee comprises David Prosten, Chair; Steve Satzberg, Vice-Chair and Delegate to the Maryland Chapter; Sue Youngs, Secretary; and Gene Milgram, Treasurer.
Kurt Riegel serves as the Group’s Political Chair while Steve Satzberg and Earl Bradley are Conservation Committee co-Chairs, and Jan Hoffmaster is Outings Chair. Rick Kissel is the group’s Watershed Sentinel while Liz Vanden Heuvel is Chair of Publicity and Parks & Refuges. Other key activists, though not members of the Executive Committee, are Newsletter Editor Pat Church, and Webmaster and Education Chair Judy Mauriello.
Shortly after the election Richelle Brown had to step down for a work opportunity in Virginia –- a move that has left a new opening in the leadership. Any member interested in serving should contact David Prosten at 410-703-0847.
