Well, the forecast scared away some folks, but the rain held off and we enjoyed a lovely hike up Mt. Megunticook. There was still a little ice in some sections, but we successfuly navigated around it. The fog was above and below us, so we had to use our imagination to see the gorgeous views of the Bay. It is a legend in our family that the islands move around and go visiting in the fog, so we always have a lively discussion about what islands may have come to lurk in the fog.
