It's been a minute since the Woods & Wetlands Group offered a local Sierra Club outing or hike.

We aim to change that ... with your help! 

Please join us at the Beer Garden at Independence Grove in Libertyville at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, to enjoy a beverage and each others' company. 

It's a perfect setting to talk about ways to explore the diverse and wonderful natural places of Lake County, northern Cook County, and beyond. We might even channel our enthusiasm into brainstorming ideas for upcoming outings and start planning an outing or two.  

Local outings planned by volunteer leaders include trail hikes, bicycle rides, canoe/kayak paddling trips, and other activities. Many outings are family-friendly.
