Clean Power Lake County (CPLC) and Brushwood Center will cut the ribbon on their new shared office space at 415 Washington St., Waukegan, on Saturday, September 21.

Organization leaders will welcome guests for an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m., followed by light refreshments, small group tours of the office, and arts and nature activities. Guests also will be able to learn about environmental justice in Northeast Lake County.

The CPLC and Brushwood staffs will use the office to work more closely with Waukegan community partners, to empower youth, and to serve as a hub for environmental justice work.
