Several PPG members attended the annual Bald Eagle Audubon Survey on January 20.  They counted exactly 70 bald eagles on the Audubon assigned route from the Brussels area on the Mississippi south to the Madison County Line.  The midday lunch was held at the Batchtown home of Cathy Dondanville, who we thank again for her wonderful hospitality and much appreciated facilities and socialability.  This outing and the Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count are long standing activities that many members look forward to each year, whether they are ‘birders’ or not.
