The Sierra Club Illinois Chapter PAC announced today its endorsement of Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson for mayor of Chicago.

"Companies like Navigator are rushing forward with these technologies and even expanding on those proposed technologies while we have a serious lack of state and federal regulation [on carbon capture]," said Hannah Flath.

Eleven of the sixteen environmental champions endorsed by the Sierra Club Illinois Chapter PAC either won their respective elections or will advance to run-off races in the Chicago municipal election.
