Laura Catlow
I am a 20 year resident of Levy County and spent the last ten years in my
community grassroots organizing and engaging local government on issues such as a
natural gas pipeline, Florida Turnpike toll road extension, Duke Energy power poles
through sensitive landscapes and recently a 'Special Exception" to approve a 1,100 acre
sand mine in rural residential zoned area.
I've received recognition from Everyday Heroes of St. Pete for my community organizing
during Sabal Trail Pipeline. I also received recognition from United Urban Warriors
Society of California for my work during the toll road.
I currently manage a Facebook group of over 1200 members. RURL, Residents United
for Rural Levy is a non partisan citizens action group focused on local issues,
engagement and education.
Our mission is to Keep Levy a Nice Place to Live.
Thank you for your consideration.

Michelle Rutledge
I am now the Vice-Chair of the Sierra Club SSJ group and member of the Energy and
Environmental Justice committees. I am honored to be a candidate for another term. It
is a passion of mine to give back and help try to make this world a better place. Some of
my goals if given an opportunity to serve again on the SSJ Excom will be to continue to
promote a Just Transition and build new relationships with communities in our region. I
look forward to the possibility of serving you and working closely together with such
dedicated Excom team members.
