Sierra Club Emerald Coast joins sixteen Sierra Club groups in Florida. We serve 1,000 members in Bay, Washington, Holmes, Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties in Northwest Florida. SCEC offers members (and prospective members) the opportunity to explore, enjoy, and protect the environment locally by volunteering, attending events, and participating in outings.
Since we are a new entity, we welcome new members and their ideas about issues to explore and outdoor activities to pursue. Whether your interest is in conservation, fundraising, wildlife, or nature outings, everyone with a love of the wilderness and the outdoors is welcome to participate.
Sierra Club Emerald Coast provides a sense of community for those who are interested in learning about or engaging with local environmental issues.
