We are bringing the issue of trophy hunting and trapping of Colorado wild cats to the voters via a ballot measure, which is legal and granted to our state’s citizens to use as a last resort when systems fail to act in the best interests of the majority of Coloradans and their values.
But we need your help!

Wilderness, Wildlife, Water and Weeds

Wilderness - Advocate for the Continental Divide Wilderness Proposal.

Wildlife - Protection of habitat for Colorado's wildlife and wolf reintroduction to Colorado.  Wolves Need Colorado and Colorado Needs Wolves.

Water - It is what ties us together.  The Headwaters of the Colorado, Eagle and Blue River are located in the three counties that make up the Headwaters Group.  The Colorado River has the distinction of being the most endangered river in the nation. The river is dangerously over allocated and we must prepare now to keep our most precious resource. We partner on outdoor work projects that restore riparian habitat.  Promote water conservation and the preservation of agriculture and recreational uses of our rivers.

Weeds - Noxious weeds displace native plants and degrade wildlife habitat by eliminating the forage. Tamarisk is water intensive and displaces willow and cottonwood.  Backyard weed control with products like roundup, are killing our bees and other pollinators.  Support pollinator friendly lawn and garden care.  Better for the earth, the bees and your own health!

All of our efforts are advanced through our educational programs, film events, presentations, and outings. We get our hands dirty - picking up litter along Highway 9, and wetlands restoration and noxious weed control.

To Change Everything, We Need Everybody.
