The Banquet Committee is extremely pleased to announce this year’s keynote speaker: Jason "Journeyman" Wise. You might recognize him from TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram! His passion is truly infectious! Jason is a Certified California Naturalist, environmental educator, conservationist, trail guide, photographer, LGBTQ activist, and writer, with a masters degree (MPP) in environmental policy. He believes that access to and education around nature creates environmental advocates. He writes and teaches about mindfulness, nature, balance, travel, adaptation, stress, joy, being, and relationships--some of the most important ingredients for a good life.
Jason is so honored to be speaking at this event, bringing full circle his appreciation for and history with the Sierra Club.

Similar to last year, we will open up Campfire Conversations at 11:00am for members to sit down and enjoy learning about interesting topics presented by some very special guests. Lunch will be served at 12:00 followed by the awards presentation. A cash bar will be open from 11am-2:30pm for purchasing drinks. The auction will open at 11:00am and close at 3:00pm. It’s even better this year - we think you’ll have fun bidding!
Money raised at the event will support our mission to explore, enjoy, and protect the planet. Locally, funds will help the Angeles Chapter to accomplish many goals within four areas of importance: transforming our energy systems, protecting our ecosystems, ensuring outdoors for all, and acting for justice.
