Join the Angeles Chapter Library Committee Meetings this November

Some exciting news for the Angeles Chapter Library!! After much-expressed interest and enthusiasm from members surrounding the induction of the new Library Committee, we’d like to invite you to join our first official meetings. Member involvement and commitment will be tailored to your schedule and can be as flexible as you need. The Library Committee is a space for members to build community, connect through the shared delight of reading, propose and plan future library events, upkeep the library, raise funds for the library, etc.

The Angeles Chapter Library began in 1914 with three autographed John Muir books. Over the decades, it has grown to more than 1,000 volumes. Some notable pieces include the work of Ansel Adams, original Sierra Club publications and archives, and valuable first-edition books. Following the pandemic quarantine and closure, the Angeles Chapter Library officially reopened with our first informal event in 2023 on June 22nd, where members bonded and toured the library.
