This Friday (4/22) is Earth Day and the beginning of Earth Month.
Join us as we celebrate the planet and spread the word about we fight for a future where all people enjoy a healthy, thriving planet and a direct connection to nature on this day and every day.
Here are activities happening on and around Earth Day 2022.
To celebrate Earth Month, Team Sierra and the Angeles Chapter are hosting a virtual Trash-a-thon to raise funds for the chapter's work. Your donation will directly benefit programs to protect wildlife and wild places, ensure clean air and water for all, and fight for environmental justice here in Southern California and beyond!

Friday, (4/22) - Wallis Annenberg Liberty Canyon Wildlife Crossing Groundbreaking
Friday (4/22) - Sierra Club will be sponsoring the Pan African Film Festival later this month. (You can read more about it here.). The chapter with National field staff Nicole Levin will be tabling the weekend of Earth Day outside the festival at the Crenshaw Mall. And on Earth Day we will be hosting a panel from 4:30-5:30 about the Inglewood Oil Field and our work to shut it down.

Saturday (5/7) - Trash Talk Saturdays - LA River
Inspiring Connections Outdoors (ICO) host Earth Day events- not public but in partnership with ICO schools.
