The Sierra Club will have a booth at Canoecopia (https://www.paddlers.com/canoecopia/showguide.asp?r=1), the largest paddlesport expo in the world, from March 13 - 15 at the Alliant Energy Center. This provides another great opportunity for us to educate people about our issues and get signatures on petitions.

Not only is this a fun event where you can get in to see and learn much more about paddling equipment and destinations, and attend many interesting seminars or travelogues, but Bike-o-Rama will be occurring at the same time across the parking lot, making this a great place and weekend for outdoor enthusiasts. That makes this a great opportunity to learn from the experts, perhaps pick up some gear, and help advance our issues - and maybe even make new friends and find new volunteers! All this fun for just a few hours of your volunteer time.

Our booth will be in the outer hall of the Expo Center, but we should have passes for volunteers to get into the main Expo hall for free. If you drive and park there, there is a $7 daily parking fee.
