The New River Valley Group of the Sierra Club is a member of the Virginia Chapter. Our region includes Craig, Montgomery, Floyd, Giles, Pulaski, Carroll, Bland, and Wythe counties but we welcome all from the southwest Virginia region. We are an all volunteer group committed to addressing local and national issues important to our community. Some of the issues that we focus on are air and water quality, conservation lands, climate resilience, and fossil fuel infrastructure projects. We are active in addressing the climate crisis and the Mountain Valley Pipeline.
