Help Your Community Transition to Clean, Battery Electric Buses
Bus electrification advocates and local/regional transportation decision makers can use this one-stop resource to view transit electrification progress in Virginia communities, find funding, explore resources, and more.
Note: "Fossil" buses refers to diesel, diesel-electric hybrid, gasoline, compressed natural gas (CNG), and propane (autogas) buses and other vehicles that emit air pollutants and greenhouse gases. Sierra Club does not support CNG buses. CNG is a fossil fuel which emits methane and other greenhouse gases, as well as harmful particulates.
