Sierra Club Virginia Chapter Endorses Tim Kaine, Congressional Candidates Committed to Climate Action and Environmental Justice Stewardship
Richmond, Va – The Sierra Club Virginia Chapter proudly announces its endorsement of U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Representatives Jennifer McClellan (4th District), Bobby Scott (3rd District), Don Beyer (8th District), and Gerry Connolly (11th District) for the 2024 elections. These individuals have demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental protection, conservation, and common-sense climate policies, aligning with the Sierra Club's mission to ensure all communities can thrive in a healthy environment and safeguard our planet for future generations.
As environmental champions, these leaders have consistently advocated for policies that address climate change, promote clean energy solutions, and protect our natural spaces. Their track records show a deep understanding of the urgent need to address environmental challenges and a steadfast dedication to creating a more sustainable future.
