After hurricane Beryl, many folks, including Texas politicians, complained about the slow progress, and lack of information, about getting customers’ power back on. In the summer heat, we sweated and complained, and some people died from the heat.
So what’s the point?

Household Hazardous Waste, Proper Disposal & Drop Off Sites
Products, such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries, and pesticides can contain hazardous ingredients and require special care for proper disposal.
Some household products that are toxic or corrosive, or that can catch fire, react, or explode under certain circumstances, are classified as household hazardous waste (HHW). |

Nature’s Burial at the Katy Prairie
The Coastal Prairie Conservancy will provide natural burials, conserving the prairie as a memorial to the departed.
The process for formal approvals has begun, to establish a place for giving back to nature at the end of life. |
