June Meeting Program:
Go Texan! Native Plants in Your Landscape

On August 21, the speaker will be Wendy Reistle, Environmental Education Program Coordinator at the Environmental Institute of Houston, University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Wendy will talk about the native plants in the Clear Lake area and why they are important. She will dive into the interactions between native plants and wildlife such as birds and insects. She will touch on conservation efforts on the UHCL campus and what you can do in your own yards to contribute.

Bay Area meetings are on 3rd Wednesday of the month, and start at 6:30pm for social hour; speaker and discussion from 7-8:30 pm.
