Water Works Festival at the Houston Botanic Garden Saturday, May 7

The Houston Public Works Department's annual Water Works Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 7th from 10am to 2pm at the Houston Botanic Garden. This event will be free to the community and open to all ages. The festival is anticipated to host 50+ booths for sponsors, exhibitors, and water professionals. The Water Works Festival focuses on engaging the community with topics such as water conservation, recycling, the water cycle, local water systems, native plants, species habitats, weather, and ecology. Attendees will have fun with hands on activities while learning about local and global environmental issues. Audience attending: Houston families, various city of Houston programs, Public Works leadership, city council members, and community partners. This is also an opportunity to visit the Houston Botanic Garden.
