Environment 2 Action Films, Starting March 4

A New Environmental Film Series for YOU

As the country focuses on important environmental issues from climate change to clean energy to equal treatment, here’s your chance to get smart about all the threats and solutions!

The powerful movie, “Racing Extinction” by Oscar-winning director Louie Psihoyos, kicks off the Sierra Club Houston’s brand new Environment2Action Film Series on Thursday, March 4th at 7pm on Zoom. Cast member Leilani Munter is invited to speak and discuss the movie and take questions, and discuss important actions to address the film’s issues. Register now at this Zoom location for the first film.

Don’t hesitate - Zoom in for the Environment 2 Action! Film Series organized by volunteer activists of the Houston Sierra Club to help the diverse Houston region (and beyond!) residents learn about issues, solutions, and actions to improve our shared environment.

Environment2Action (E2A) is initiating monthly virtual film and discussion events to show powerful, compelling films, and to speak with expert speakers and panels on what we can do to protect people in Houston, Texas, and around the world. You can make a difference!

E2A is collaborating with Citizens’ Environmental Coalition and the Houston Green Films project to advance environmental knowledge and action. Environmental interest is so strong now that several films are needed monthly!

You can help select movies and create these events! E2A and Sierra Club have room for more volunteers. Contact us at environment2action@gmail.com to get connected! For additional information and more scheduled films, visit our Grassroots action website at https://bit.ly/3rW3fdd
