The Citizens Environmental Coalition (CEC) will host this third annual 'Wild About Houston Green Film Festival' on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. The festival will tell the story of local environmental issues, their champions and how you can make a difference. This is a variable price event; see event registration link below for options & details.
This is a one-night screening of short environmental films from the Greater Houston Area. The audience will vote to determine which films will be shown at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour, hosted by the CEC in January, 2021. From air quality issues to heat island mapping events to unique water conservation techniques, Houstonians have great stories to share.
After the live program, an esteemed panel will share their reaction to the films and take questions from the audience.
Panelists:
Sahar Hamzah, Assistant Professor at the UH Valenti School of Communications
Alfred Cervantes, Deputy Director of Houston Film Commission
A few more surprise panelists - stay tuned!
