Bay Area meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and start at 6:30 pm for social hour; speaker and discussion are from 7-8:30 pm.
January Meeting Program: Carbon Fee and Dividend Policy.
One of the approaches to address climate change and reduce carbon emissions is a carbon fee and dividend policy.
Clayton Greenbaum, volunteer Director for the Texas Citizens' Climate Lobby, will be the guest speaker at this program on January 15th, 7:00 pm. Greenbaum advocates for a carbon fee and dividend policy at the federal level and for respectful, informed citizen engagement in the democratic process.
