The Museum of Fine Arts (MFAH, 1001 Bissonnet Street, Houston, 77005, 713-639-7300), will premiere “The Legend of Big Bend” on Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. This show has storytelling, imagery, and original music by Austin’s Montopolis rock and roll chamber orchestra, which will perform live on the Brown Auditorium Theater stage!
The film will be narrated by poets, philosophers, scientists, and historians as they guide the audience on an adventure through Big Bend. The National Sierra Club, Lone Star Chapter, and Houston Regional Group have a special relationship with Big Bend National Park and the Big Bend area. For many years the Sierra Club has conducted service trips and outings to Big Bend National Park.
