November 8, 2018 — The Nature Conservancy's Urban Conservation Program

Jaime González, Houston Urban Conservation Programs Manager for The Nature Conservancy of Texas, will present a program about TNC’s new urban conservation program which seeks to create healthier cities for both humans and wildlife.
The event is free and open to the public at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 1805 West Alabama, Houston. Main program starts 7:30 PM. Doors open 7:00 PM.

The Texas Forest Service (TFS) is the state agency that addresses forest issues in Texas. It is a unique state agency because it operates within the Texas A&M University System. The TFS is a state agency run by Texas A&M. About 483 people are employed by TFS and its budget is about $88.8 million in 2018.
