Please join the Houston Regional Group of the Sierra Club to be inspired by local students at our February 9, 2017 general meeting. 

We are reaching out to young people, from high school to college, from all parts of the city, and from all races and economic groups, to celebrate their common interests in sustaining the planet for future generations. These talented young adults will share a range of interests from ecosystem restoration to the future of energy subsidies.

Four students will participate:

Ella Matsuda from Rice University
Amanda Howard from University of Houston-Downtown
Gabriel Poveda from the Woodlands High School
Sunnie Liu from St. John’s School

Each presenter will receive a certificate of recognition, a $50 gift card, and a one-year, free membership to the Sierra Club.
