Mayoral Candidate Forum on Growth and Climate Change‐ How Will Houston Address the Next Decades? – 17 September A forum on the topic of Growth and Climate Change‐ How Will Houston Address the Next Decades will take place the evening of 17 September at 7 PM. To date, four mayoral candidates are slated to participate in this event (Chris Bell, Adrian Garcia, Ben Hall, and Sylvester Turner). The event is hosted by the Houston area Sierra Club (http://www.sierraclub.org/texas/houston ), Citizens’ Transportation Coalition (http://www.ctchouston.org/ ), and Citizens’ Climate Lobby (http://citizensclimatelobby.org/ ) Candidates will respond to questions received prior to the event from each of the hosting organizations. The other candidates, who cannot attend because of scheduling conflicts, have been invited to send representatives to present their responses. The forum will take place at the Trini Mendenhall Sosa Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, 77055. Moderator for this event is Ariana de Valdivia, Outreach Coordinator for Houston MediaSource.
