It’s not rare to see relaxed and inquisitive guanacos, foxes and other animals up close on naturalist-guided excursions.

From red and grey foxes to huemul deer and pumas, Torres del Paine offers more than its fair share of fauna to keep wildlife watchers on their toes. But the most ubiquitous species seen on International Expeditions' Patagonia tours is by far the guanaco, also known as the Patagonian llama.

Kayaking at Lago Grey

At just 270 square kilometers, Grey Glacier is one of the smallest in the region. But, as you paddle the waters of Lago Grey, it looks massive, feeding into the opposite end of the lake. Calved icebergs glow with a brilliant blue hue that seems to radiate from within.
