Mikey Jane Moran is a contributor to Sierra. A recent Western Washington University graduate, she studied environmental education and journalism and served as Editor-in-Chief of The Planet Magazine. When she is not injured from her reckless outdoor adventures, she enjoys hunting for fossils, pickling asparagus and sock dancing to Motown. One day she will keep bees and goats.
