Jenny Qi is the author of Focal Point, winner of the 2020 Steel Toe Books Poetry Award. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and elsewhere. She is working on a hybrid collection titled Liminal Bodies and a memoir in essays in conversation with her late mother’s memoirs of the Cultural Revolution and life in Las Vegas. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Science from UCSF.
