Amira Odeh is a recent graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus where she studied geography. "I love being involved in activism and currently participate as a campaign leader on an effort to significantly reduce the plastic consumed and wasted at the university. This campaign is currently working out successfully and has allowed us to make a big difference for an issue that was very present in our campus. This success wouldn't have been possible if I had not attended Puerto Rico Sprog training in 2011, where I met people who motivated me to move forward in my cause and where I learned all the tools that helped me organize while also enjoying the work that I was doing."
