The NAC Group, the largest in the SF Bay Chapter, encompasses multiple jurisdictions in the East Bay, starting with San Leandro in the south up to Alameda’s border with Contra Costa County.

As such, we address a host of issues—safe and affordable transit, walkability, bikeability, and housing abundance, among them—pertinent to environmental concerns in urban spaces.

In recent months, our two new subcommittees on housing and transportation have considered and made recommendations on issues related to housing, transit and street safety.

We will be posting their work in this space in coming weeks.
