Did you meet our mascot yet? Probably so if you went to Earth Day or one of our Venture(a) Out speaker nights this year. Not your average bear, but definitely a safe way to get close to a lifesize Ursus americanus californiensis. Two of our latest booth volunteers made sure he was brought last month to the Ventura Land Trust film festival.

Besides setting up our booth with the mascot (giving everyone an easy photo op), one of our booth volunteers made a brand new giant fabulous donation jar for the club. Almost as big as the bear! So grateful for the help and effort of our supporters! THANK YOU Deborah W!!
