Los Serranos member Brian Elliott has visited Australia on four trips and will give a presentation on his extensive climbing, camping, birding, and hiking road trips in Australia. Emus, cockatoos, kangaroos, wallabys, and wombats are some of the interesting animals encountered along the way. The unique and varied vegetation, geology, and landscapes of Australia enhanced the experiences along the way. Brian has hiked and climbed in Australia from the sea cliffs of Tasmania, to the World Heritage summit of Cradle Mountain, and the hot, dry sandstone ranges of the Outback. The wild places of Australia are truly amazing!
