Papua New Guinea – A Journey into Dramatic Landscapes, Biodiversity and a Changing Culture
Join us on November 18 at 7 PM for our monthly meeting. Meeting is held upstairs in the First Presbyterian Church Education building, 869 N. Euclid Ave, Upland, take the left side stairs. New members and the public are welcome.
There will be a short business meeting first, refreshments will be served, and the speaker will follow. The speaker is long time Sierra Club member, Beri Bosnjak, who recently traveled to Papua New Guinea where he visited met inhabitants of remote villages, landed on uninhabited beaches, snorkeled on atolls in the warm waters surrounding the island, and searched for various species of magnificent Birds of Paradise in the lush forests of the Papua New Guinea highlands. Beri will discuss his experiences and share his photos with us of this beautiful island.
