Speak up for Greenbelts at the Hearing this Friday, Dec. 11!

Call your supervisor on or before Dec. 11. Come to the 10:30 am Dec. 15 Sonoma County Supervisors meeting!

The natural and agricultural lands between Sonoma County's towns and cities are protected from sprawl by "community separators," but the voter-approved measures that keep these vital protections in place are expiring. If we don't act now, we risk losing them.

We are closer than ever to moving forward on renewing and strengthening the policies that keep community separators in place for the long-term. We’ve already sent in hundreds of emails and letters—now is the final push before the Board of Supervisors meets on December 15 to review the future of community separators. Here's how you can help.

Call your Sonoma County Supervisors at 707-565-2241 or tweet them by Friday, December 11 and urge them to:

  • Renew the community separators with voter approval
  • Strengthen the community separator policies
  • Designate priority lands as identified in the general plan to keep agriculture and open space intact
