OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- The Oklahoma State Legislature reconvened on Monday, February 1, amidst the COVID pandemic, an ever-worsening climate crisis, and national conversations about racial and environmental justice.
“Now is the time for Oklahoma to think big,” said Johnson Bridgwater, Director Oklahoma Chapter of Sierra Club. “We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to not only support Oklahomans harmed by the COVID pandemic, but to create a more transparent, efficient, and just energy system that works for all Oklahomans, regardless of their race, class, or where in the state they live.”
