Washington DC — Donald Trump dio su cuarto Discurso del Estado de la Nación, el primero desde que fue enjuiciado políticamente, y horas antes de la votación en el Senado sobre si despedirlo de su cargo.
Como respuesta, el Sierra Club emitió la siguiente declaración:
“Donald Trump es el peor presidente de la historia para el medio ambiente y el clima de Estados Unidos. Lo que no dijo esta noche es que ha intentado incesantemente debilitar las protecciones a la limpieza del aire y el agua, a los trabajadores y la vida silvestre que hacen grande a nuestro país. Su presidencia continúa pero bajo un manto de profunda vergüenza, y así permanecerá el resto de la historia”.

SOTU Statement: Trump is Worst President Ever for the Environment
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Tonight is Donald Trump’s fourth State of the Union Speech, his first since being impeached and just ahead of a Senate vote on whether to remove him from office.
In response, the Sierra Club released the following statement:
“Donald Trump is the worst president for the environment and climate in the history of the United States. What he failed to say tonight is that he has sought relentlessly to gut the clean air, clean water, climate, worker and wildlife protections that make our country great. This is a presidency that continues only under a cloud of deep shame, and which will stay that way throughout history.”
