El Paso, TX — Mañana, Sábado, 25 de mayo, a las 8:30 am, la Red Fronteriza de Derechos Humanos (BNHR) y familias de la frontera protestarán contra el trato inhumano y cruel de esta administración que ya ha causado la muerte de cinco niños inocentes de Guatemala desde diciembre.
La movilización comenzará en la esquina de Edgemere y Hawkins y continuará hacia el centro de detención en Mattox y Montana, donde se celebrará el mitin. La muerte en la custodia de funcionarios federales de inmigración del quinto menor guatemalteco desde diciembre es penosa. Además es innecesaria y también inevitable, dado el tratamiento de la administración Trump a familias inmigrantes en la frontera.
Todas estas muertes pudieron y debieron ser evitadas. Pero esta agencias no están dispuestas a ofrecer ninguna compasión, dignidad ni cuidados a quienes mantienen en custodia. Los derechos y vidas de estas personas se ignoran y desprecian. Con esta actitud de nuestro gobierno, parecen inevitables más deshumanización y muerte.
Como respuesta, mañana sábado, proclamaremos en la calles “¡NI UNO MAS!” Por favor únase a nosotros en defensa de la dignidad, los derechos y las vidas de todas las personas en esta nación de inmigrantes.

Stop Killing Kids... No More, Enough!
BNHR and Border Families to March for Lives, Dignity, and Rights of Refugee Children and Families
El Paso, TX/Southern New Mexico. – Tomorrow, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 8:30 am, Border Network for Human Rights and border families will protest the inhumane and cruel policies of this administration that have already taken the lives of five innocent Guatemalan children since December.
The mobilization will start at the corner of Edgemere and Hawkins and will proceed to the detention center at Mattox and Montana where a rally will be held. The death in Federal immigration custody of a fifth Guatemalan child since December is saddening. It is unnecessary and yet unavoidable given the Trump Administration’s treatment of migrant families at the border.
All of these deaths could and should have been prevented. Instead, agencies are unwilling to provide any humanity, any dignity, any care for those in their custody. The rights and lives of these people are trampled and ignored. With this mindset driving our government, further dehumanization and death seems inescapable.
In response, this Saturday we take to the streets to proclaim, ‘NOT ONE MORE!’ Please join us in standing up for the dignity, rights, and lives of all persons in this nation of immigrants.
