LAS VEGAS, NV -- On Tuesday March 5th, a diverse coalition of conservation organizations, community groups and Tribal communities will rally to urge the Nevada State Senate Committee on Natural Resource to pass a state resolution opposing the expansion of the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) into the Desert National Wildlife Refuge.

Background: On Oct. 10, 2018, the United States Air Force published their final Environmental Impact Statement for the Military Land Withdrawal of the Desert National Wildlife Refuge-- making public their intentions of gutting the largest refuge in the lower 48 states. The Sierra Club, Friends of Nevada Wilderness, the Center For Biological Diversity and several other community partners collected over 32,000 comments from supporters opposing the project.
