WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Rep. Peter Roskam (IL-6) has lost his reelection for the House of Representatives.
Roskam was targeted by the Sierra Club Political Committee as a top “Fossil Fool” because he has made his allegiance to corporate polluters clear by voting repeatedly against climate action, clean air and water protections. Peter Roskam has an abysmal 7% environmental voting record, and he voted with the environment 3% of the time last year. Since first running for Congress, Roskam has taken $397,320 from oil and gas interests.

“The Sierra Club targeted Fossil Fool Peter Roskam for defeat because of his awful record of voting against the environment and with corporate polluters.
