WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Rep. Randy Hultgren has lost his reelection for the House of Representatives.
Hultgren was targeted by the Sierra Club Political Committee as a top “Fossil Fool” because he has made his allegiance to corporate polluters clear by voting repeatedly against climate action, clean air and water protections. Congressman Hultgren has an abysmal 5% environmental voting record according to the League of Conservation Voters Scorecard, and he voted with the environment 0% of the time last year. Since first running for Congress, he has taken $81,250 from oil and gas interests.

“The Sierra Club targeted Fossil Fool Randy Hultgren for defeat because of his awful record of voting against the environment and with corporate polluters.
