LAS VEGAS, NV - Today, The Sierra Club announced a new digital advertising campaign in backing Chris Giunchigliani’s progressive campaign in the Nevada Democratic Gubernatorial Primary.
Starting today, The Sierra Club launched a digital ad campaign reaching 81,000 Democratic primary voters on Google, Youtube, and Facebook with a similar message promoting Giunchigliani’s outstanding environmental credentials starting today.
“Only one candidate in this election has the credentials to fight against corporate polluters and big developers, and that is Chris Giunchigliani. Chris is a progressive champion we can trust to fight for Nevada families and protect the state’s wild landscapes,” said Sierra Club Toiyabe Director Brian Beffort.
The ads highlight the fact that Giunchigliani is the only candidate in the race who fought to protect public lands by voting against building near Red Rock Canyon. She was one of only two Clark County commissioners who opposed plans for more than 5,000 homes at the edge of that iconic Nevada landscape.
The Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club endorsed Giunchigliani in May. The Sierra Club is also currently running a mail program in support of Chris G.
