Denver, CO - Today, Jason Crow won the Democratic Primary in Colorado's 6th Congressional District. The Sierra Club endorsed Crow in March. Crow has also released a detailed policy paper including his plan to protect our wild and public places, make America a leader on climate action, and transition the country off of dirty fuels.:

The Sierra Club issued the following statement congratulating Jason Crow on winning Colorado’s 6th Congressional District Primary.

"Colorado is ready for a new generation of leadership led by those who have a demonstrable record of service, like Jason Crow. We’re thrilled to congratulate Jason on his victory. Having served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Jason is ready to lead. That is clear in his plan to grow Colorado’s clean energy economy and protect our public lands and stands in stark contrast to career politician Mike Coffman. After 29 years in politics, Mike Coffman cares more about the Koch Brothers and corporate special interests, not the people of Colorado. That is why we are committed to working to elect Jason in November,” said Colorado Sierra Club Director Jim Alexee.
