WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney announced that he will be joining the lengthy list of those investigating Scott Pruitt’s illegal actions and abuse of taxpayer funds. This is the second White House investigation into Pruitt in the past ten days.
In response, Sierra Club’s Legislative Director Melinda Pierce released the following statement:
"Scott Pruitt is so far buried under scandals at this point that even the White House is conducting two separate investigations into his actions. It couldn’t be more clear that it’s time for Donald Trump to boot Pruitt.”
