Salt Lake City, UT-- President Trump is expected to visit Utah on Monday, December 4th, 2017. The stated intent of his visit is to eliminate vast portions of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments. In anticipation of his visit, Utah Diné Bikéyah is leading the charge to organize Utahns to resist Trump’s efforts to dismantle national monuments and disrespect the five sovereign tribes that championed the Bears Ears designation. The rally is expecting over three thousand people for a peaceful demonstration in support of public lands and to honor tribes.
