WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Sierra Club today released three videos encouraging people to channel their anger toward the Trump administration into marching on April 29. “Cats,” “Newsfeed” and “Space” remind viewers that they are not the only ones feeling overwhelmed after the election of Donald Trump and that gathering with thousands of like-minded progressives at the Peoples Climate March will not just lift their mood, but help make the call for climate action and justice even louder than before.
Regarding the videos, Sierra Club Peoples Climate March Campaign Coordinator Maura Cowley released the following statement:
"Knowing Donald Trump is president has put us all in a bad mood, but staring at social media and tweeting ‘I can’t even..’ won’t do anything to protect our climate, jobs and justice. Marching on the White House with thousands of others is a much more effective way to show Donald Trump just how strong our resistance is.”
