Free-standing Solar Panels should not be considered "impervious" in local ordinances
 
Institute green building ordinances for new construction and major renovations
 
Create township-wide idle reduction policies specifying that vehicles will not sit idle for more than two minutes
Implement vehicle fleet fuel efficiency programs
 
Continue to improve existing trail, sidewalk, and bike lane networks
Encourage sustainability plans of local businesses
Locate bus storage yards/sheds properly to optimize daily trips
Create and implement mobility alternatives programs
Encourage carpooling, walking, or biking by providing dedicated parking spots, bike racks
 
Introduce veggie-diesel into fuel usage; collect from local eateries and install a secondary tank for the veggie diesel
Reduce vehicle fleet and encourage personal vehicle usage
