The Western NC Group and the North Carolina Sierra Club work together to:

• Safeguard public lands, national forests and wilderness; 
• Advocate for solar and wind power to replace dirty coal fired power plants;
• Ensure clean air and water for all citizens;
• Reduce and eliminate single use plastics, and 
• Build resiliency in the face of rising sea levels.
